The story of Kārkliņi began in 1892. In 1979, the house was purchased by Dailes Theatre actress Zigrīda Stungure, and it became a summer home for her and her husband Jānis.
Since 2013, Rihards Šešo has cared for Kārkliņi, restoring the house and its 1920s atmosphere. Today we welcome guests who appreciate vintage interiors, closeness to nature and unhurried time together.

What should I bring?
Bring charcoal for the grill, weather-appropriate clothing and personal items. Please ask about towels and firewood before arrival.
Please care for the house and nature
Do not use candles indoors. Light the stoves only with the host’s permission. When leaving, close all windows and doors and leave the house tidy.
